Endometriosis is a complicated chronic disease whose symptoms and treatment may vary from woman to woman. While for some Ayurveda works, for others homeopathy gives respite, while several others under complete hysterectomy or survive on hormonal treatment. Earlier detection and good lifestyle and diet still form the bottom line though.
But what I have experienced in my decade-long battle with endometriosis is that it requires a willpower of steel to be really able to defeat this whole body inflammation. Ever since I have given up my fear of pain which made me restrict myself so often and channel my energies on meditating and in the power of our subconscious.
The zest to defeat endometriosis must be paramount in us to be able to really overcome it and our approach should be holistic. Apart from the medication it calls for a lot of discipline, Eaton’s right, exercising and always being happy.
I can recall I used to take individual one-to-one sessions in my academy in Pune
with a heating pad tied across my stomach because grooming and training bothers gave me unparalleled joy and in doing so I forgot my pain. The contentment of doing what I love helped the pain killer to relieve pain better because otherwise, they were ineffective.
Thus I never treated my disease as a handicap instead kept myself super busy to give my brain any room to reel under the torturous endometriosis pain. Of course, I did all this with sufficient rest during my menstrual cycles to minimize the amount of medicines I pop.
I would say you can surely bid goodbye to endometriosis with extreme care and strong willpower under the guidance of the right doctor or at least not let it take control of your life and disrupt it.
With this, I come to the end of this series. I hope the perspective I shared as an endometriosis patient will be of use to someone somewhere, thank you so much all of you♥️
