Ultimate Endometriosis Management Plan continued #ENDOCHAMPIONS

Today I am continuing my endometriosis management plan from where I left it in my last post here

Post by breakfast at 10 a.m. I take my Ayurvedic medicines and give myself some hours of 'me time' in which if I have pain or am in my menstrual cycle I curl up with a heating pad on my stomach doing my work on my laptop or taking work calls, till I feel better.

I also sip some soothing teas like chamomile or sweet rose tea or green tea or read while fidgeting between a lot of other things I do. I try to be peaceful during this time and get charged up for the rest of my day.

30 minutes of rest helps in getting rid of the fatigue which starts building in the late afternoon. Resting or maybe doing something that you really love to boost your happy hormones. They can really be very effective in kicking out our sickness.

At 3 p.m. I have lunch including salads and normal healthy food followed by a casual stroll of 10 minutes. Because I rest a lot I try and move a lot within the house whenever I can.

This mantra is really effective for people like us who cannot do a rigorous Pilate or gym workout, more than the intensity of the workout I feel it is the consistency and the discipline that matter more. Just keep moving that’s it whenever u can, that’s our exercise.

Keeping my munching habit in control is also vital. If hungry, munching on fruits helps. Simple lifestyle changes work wonders for us. We need to keep away from alcohol, caffeine, and red meat.

At 5p.m. I have a cup of black tea and roasted fox nuts followed by dinner at 7-8 p.m.  I take my night endometriosis medicines post that and if there is pain that day I include the Ayurvedic painkiller too so that I sleep well and wake up fresh.

I also meditate and manifest before I sleep for our last thoughts before sleep remain in our brain for the longest time.

Another therapy that helps in managing the symptoms well is happiness therapy. I shall talk to you at length about it tomorrow.

You too can become an #ENDOCHAMPION and help us spread awareness about this whole body inflammation by sharing our posts and connecting with anyone in need. Trust me together we can make a big difference because this disease and its ignorance can be really harsh and as a patient, I myself have contemplated suicide several times and would like to save many others from the agony. You can join the support group by clicking here: Endometriosis Awareness and Support Group India

If not anything else just by letting them share their pain with us, we can soothe them. I will be grateful for any support from you on this. You can read my EndoJourney here:
