Comparison of Allopathy Vs Homeopathy Vs Ayurveda Treatments Available In India for Endometriosis #ENDOCHAMPIONS

I spoke about what is endometriosis, how it impacts our lives, and other important FAQs about the disease in my previous post where I requested all of you to remain alert towards certain symptoms which indicate the disease.

In today’s post, I want to talk about whether endometriosis can be cured?

I will categorize my answer into three for better clarity.

In Allopathy

Well for the longest time, I was told that, like the cause of this disease is not known, how to get rid of it, isn’t known either. Only the symptoms can be managed with painkillers and hormone therapy depending on the extent of the disease.

However, hormonal and birth control pills have a lot of side effects and after using them for over a decade I realize using them as well as Leuprorelin injections was one of the worst things I did to my body and its metabolism. They lead to severe weight gain and after a while became ineffective and I was advised laparoscopic surgery.

Now there are two types of laparoscopic surgeries recommended by gynecologists and surgeons depending on the extent of the disease and the age of the patient and is pretty subjective.

In the first kind of laparoscopy, the endometrial tissues and other similar growths like Adenomyoma are removed surgically to relieve the patient’s symptoms but the patient's uterus is not removed if the patient is young and may like to plan a pregnancy. In my case this surgery gave relief but it was short-lived.

In the second time of laparoscopy, they do a complete hysterectomy that is they remove your uterus and preferably all other reproductive organs. This is what is known as the course of action in endometriosis but unfortunately, no one guarantees that this major organ removal surgery will rid you of the pain but is the last resort in Allopathic medication.

I wasted 12 precious years in the above only to realize it is taking me nowhere other than the continuous torture of MRIs, tests, and surgeries with the pain and bleeding refusing to seize.

In Homeopathy

During the course of the above treatment, I turned to homeopathy a couple of times but as per them my disease had already advanced to its 4th stage and the combination of lifestyle changes, regular exercise, and homeopathic medications can be tried but in my case, it did not work.

Perhaps in the early stages, endometriosis patients may find some relief in it because homeopathy often attacks the root cause of a disease but the doctors maintained that endometriosis doesn’t have a cure and the symptoms can only be better managed.

In Ayurveda

I and so happy to share that finally I found relief in Ayurveda.

Finally, I met an endometriosis specialist Ayurvedic Gynecologist in 2022 who committed that Ayurveda can reverse the pathology of endometriosis. She surely can cure endometriosis and so far her medicines and Vasti Panchkarma have helped me so much.

So yes endometriosis does have a treatment and can be cured. The treatment span may vary but the quality of life improves drastically and you can lead a normal life by just taking your medicines on time.

The best part is these medicines don’t have the dangerous side effects which hormonal pills and the painkillers which I had popped for over a decade.

There is a very important procedure in Ayurveda known as Vasti Panchkarma, which is known to help a great deal in patients with endometriosis.

Comparatively, I am the closest to my normal life today and thus recommend Ayurveda to every patient.

So, I hope you got the answer. Yes, endometriosis can very well be cured. We just need to create awareness about the right Ayurvedic doctor who needs to be contacted.
