Finally the well-deserved happily ever after!

Hello every one, here, I am continuing weaving the Romantic Thriller I was weaving in April, where Aaradhya is waiting for her love Shamit, who has vanished seven years ago. The story is being narrated by their best friend Riya. In case you missed the earlier chapters of this timeless love saga, 'I Live To Love you', you can read them here

Chapter 32

So my perennial love birds started weaving their love nest yet again in Nainital this time, materialising every single desire they had forgone due to the circumstances before.

They rented a little cottage uphill to commence with and named it ‘RadhaSham’s’. It was decorated with Shamit’s paintings and had everything basic and artistically tasteful including a sound system for them to constantly soak themselves in the old Hindi melodies that formed such an important part of their lives.

They had a tiny garden outside their place where they sat in the morning sunlight sipping their favourite lemon grass tea and talking about anything and everything under the sun even if it was just the first grey strand in Aaru’s hair. Shamit can mock over it for hours until their stomachs hurt laughing.

They often cooked together too and in the evening went to the stroll by the Naini Lake if it was not very cold. Video calling and chit chatting with their daughter was their favourite pastime.

Soon they became friends with many neighbours whom Aaru gave medical guidance. She would also really love if kids came to get creative writing tips from her.

Shamit on the other hand gave his artistic talent a new form by assisting Aaru’s aged dad in his designer candles factory. Back home he often painted and loved to guide anyone pursuing it.

Creatively satiated, the two basked in each other’s love and were inseparable. Soon they opened a small academy where the two started taking creative writing and painting classes particularly for the unprivileged kids, three hours a day.

Everyone around who knew them as Radha- Sham, loved them to the core, for the goodness of their pure souls. Life was peacefully blissful and whenever their princess joined them, their heaven felt complete.

Aaru often called me and we spoke for hours. Shamit still teased me for being a tomboy and it always brought a smile on my face.

No matter what they say, I still love them from the bottom of my heart and am am so proud to have been the custodian of their timeless love right from day one.

Their Riyu is the happiest to see them live happily ever after together forever and it was truly well deserved!

Wish and pray Radha-Sham belong to each other in every birth and the strings of pure love keep binding their hearts forever.

Truly Yours Roma

An avid traveller in the house

Hello every one, here, I am continuing weaving the Romantic Thriller I was weaving in April, where Aaradhya is waiting for her love Shamit, who has vanished seven years ago. The story is being narrated by their best friend Riya. In case you missed the earlier chapters of this timeless love saga, 'I Live To Love you', you can read them here

Chapter 31

In no time little Sharadhya entered her teens. She was an exact replica of Aaru in looks but in nature she was way more vivacious and outgoing with an enchanting sense of humour.

She undoubtedly was no ordinary young adult and it was bound to be so as she was raised by two of the most capable and loving parents on earth who gave her all freedom to pursue her dreams and experience life as much as she could.

Her confidence undoubtedly spoke volumes and her laugh was extremely contagious.

She was a true face of Aaradhya and Shamit’s pure love and she indeed was super proud of that.

She loved her parents as much as they adored her and I loved their fluid relationship free of any formalities.

Our Sharu wanted to become a travel blogger and pursue photography as a profession. She commenced travelling across the globe some years ago with her granny when she took her to Poland on her fifteenth birthday.

Shamit had gifted her daughter dearest a DSLR Camera to capture beautiful memories and Aaru had gifted her a phone where she can pen all her feelings at all the places she was going to visit.

Coming back she had enrolled for a professional photography and video-making course and was soaked in learning the tips and tricks all the time.

Travel enthralled little Sharu so much that she developed the deep desire to travel the world and also capture its marvels through her lens and words.

It goes without saying that Aaru-Shamit were up for everything she wanted to train at. They knew they had never travelled much but their princess wanted to fly high and kiss the skies. She perhaps had wheels on her feet.

At eighteen, she became independent and started earning through professional photoshoots she did and through ad-film making. Soon she had amassed enough money to start her world tour with one continent at a time.

Of course her parents would have happily paid for it but she wanted to do it all on her own. She was truly magical and wanted to travel at her own expense and not as a gift from her parents. She was indeed a perfect role-model for her generation who loved their independence.

I loved how she was a wanderlust who didn’t want to settle at one place. Soon, she flew away though always informing her parents of her whereabouts.

She also flooded them with pictures, videos and write-ups from the various countries she travelled to. It was a pleasure for Aaru and Shamit to travel the world through their daughter’s eyes.

Sharu was living her life to the fullest and her parents were so proud of her. Sharu took small photography jobs too in several countries and kept taking her existing skill set further many notches up.

Aunt Sandy would join her sometimes if she wished as she loved travelling like crazy too but her age often intercepted her excitement.

In one trip to Poland to meet her siblings, she passed away quietly. Sharu flew down and paid her homage promising her to fulfil her desire of travelling the entire world. So this is where all her dreams have stemmed from. No wonder Sharu was also a fabulous baker like her granny.

Back home Aaradhya and Shamit seeing their daughter realise her dreams, decided to materialise Aaru’s long term dream too and shifted their base permanently to Nainital.

They have amassed enough money for the same and now wanted to spend their life peacefully on the mountains doing what they loved doing the most...to be continued.

Fulfilling the long cherished dreams

Hello every one, here, I am continuing weaving the Romantic Thriller I was weaving in April, where Aaradhya is waiting for her love Shamit, who has vanished seven years ago. Chapter 30

Life became a beautiful bed of roses yet again for my Aaru and Shamit. Aaru commenced writing the book she had dreamt of starting seven years ago on a fateful night before Shamit vanished and Shamit was going full throttle to paint masterpieces for his dream exhibition.

This was mostly at leisure as Shamit got back to his family business making his mom retire and Aaru continued her medical practice.

Little Sharu was delighted to be with mom and dad and learning baking from granny.

I am so proud of Aunt Sandy who despite her age and illness was still a strong independent woman, a role model to so many. This was life in Pune.

In Mumbai, I and Adarsh were blessed with a baby boy and our joy knew no bounds. Adarsh had named him Riyansh and also agreed on me training him to be a Badminton Champion from early on.

Aayi-baba had joined us too and words fail me to express how happy they were to embrace the little one, they had given up hope.

They decided to live with us thereafter. Together we were such a happy family. I saw pride in Adarsh’s eyes as he stole a glance of me with a smile.

Sharu was on cloud nine to see her little brother Riyansh. All three of them couldn’t hold themselves when they heard the news and came down with a car full of gifts for my little prince charming who indeed was love at first sight for me.

Adarsh was a perfect host to them, leaving aside all guilt feelings from the past this time. There were smiles all around eventually, too good to be true, touchwood!

But yes they were real, we all earnestly deserved them.

We also commenced an annual ritual of going to Nainital for a month with our families to be with our parents both biological ones and the ones who saved Shamit and those indeed turned out to be some of the best times of our lives.

Aaru’s soul really resides in Nainital. She had forever told Shamit that she would eventually love to live here when they grow old and her Sham had always agreed. I understood her emotions. Her soul belonged to the mountains.

She strongly believed in living surrounded by them. She grew up in them, lost her love in them, and then found him back in them as if they have kept her belongings safe for her. They really knew she lived to love him.

In a couple of years, Aaru’s book, ‘I live to love you’ released and became an instant bestseller as it came straight from the heart.

It was Radha-Sham’s true love story. As promised by him, its cover was painted by Shamit and the book was released in an exhibition of Shamit’s paintings which were widely appreciated.

We all went to the launch too and did a happy dance celebrating their fulfilled dreams and well-deserved success...to be continued.

Acceptance heals the deepest wounds

Hello every one, here, I am continuing weaving the Romantic Thriller I was weaving in April, where Aaradhya is waiting for her love Shamit, who has vanished seven years ago. The story is being narrated by their best friend Riya. In case you missed the earlier chapters of this timeless love saga, 'I Live To Love you', you can read them here

Chapter 29

Aaru ran to lift me up and made me sit on the sofa. She was speechless to know what I have been through my entire life. So was Shamit but he needed to speak and fix this for all three of ours’ sake. I too have wanted to hear their side.

“Riya, I am glad you vented your emotions. We always knew you loved the two of us deeply but we didn’t know your exact feelings. Our apologies for that. We are your besties yaar, you would have opened your heart to us long back. Why did you feel we would have judged you?

Anyways better late than never. You know what the most important, it is acceptance of our feelings. We are humans and have no control over our emotions and I believe it is ok for you to desire living with us for your entire life. We too love you Riyu and would ideally love that you stay with us forever but not as our third life partner, my dear.

We value you as our best friend for life who gave the seven most precious years of her life in aiding Aaru rear our little Sharu when I was gone.

You are priceless to us and our lives are never complete without you.

But most genuinely the concept of being our third life partner is flawed which shall only bring more chaos to our lives which isn’t the right thing to do after all the turmoil our lives have gone through in the past seven years.

Aaru is my only and only love and so am I to her, we don’t have the same kind of love for you but a more divine sacred love that we confer to a dear family friend.

That’s the reality, my dearest and I know you are a smart woman to let it sink in gradually.

I know it’s going to be painful but accepting this at the earliest shall be your best medicine and help your wounds heal faster.

Obsession of any kind is always hurtful Riyu, get rid of it at the earliest. It is a mental game and you are strong enough to defeat it.

Also, I will like to take the liberty today to draw your attention towards Adarsh who had always loved you to the extent that he even wanted to get rid of me.

Please do give your marriage another try, you are an ocean of love, invest it in the right man to whom you are wedded. Give it your best shot this time and remember you do have a home in Pune where we would welcome you with open arms any time you need.”

Shamit said as gently as he could.

“I agree with Sham, Riyu but am glad you spoke your heart out with us. We’ll sort it out together.”

Added Aaru with all three of us getting into a group hug like our school days which brought a smile on our faces.

I left soon after and thought what Shamit said the entire night. He was actually right. I was more obsessed rather than in love. He could not have put it across better. Somehow I felt lighter and finally could see a clear path ahead.

I called Adarsh and he got so excited that he said he would drive down the next day to come and pick me up.

Finally, I got closure of my screwed feelings and was ready to take a giant step ahead with an open mind.

I had promised myself to try a little hard and shower true love on my husband from now on. The road undoubtedly wasn’t easy but I am sure we would make it work out.

The next day I bid goodbye to three beautiful souls and moved to Mumbai with my husband and I am so glad I did.

While I experienced new energy and joy starting afresh, Adarsh was so good to me as well. I loved sharing special moments with him. In no time, our life became absolutely blissful. I realized what a grave mistake I had been doing.

My wounds had healed and I was finally happy, very happy for the first time for no one else but myself....to be continued
