Awaiting a new dawn in their lives

Hello every one, here, I am continuing weaving the Romantic Thriller I was weaving in April, where Aaradhya is waiting for her love Shamit, who has vanished seven years ago. The story is being narrated by their best friend Riya. In case you missed the earlier chapters of this timeless love saga, 'I Live To Love you', you can read them here

Chapter 27

Daddy dearest was awestruck to see her princess grown so much.

He couldn’t help but smile wrapping her in his arms remembering the good old golden days.

It was as if only yesterday that he held newborn Sharu in his arms. He could now remember it all discretely.

Aaru thanked the doctor-uncle and his wife who had saved Shamit and taken good care of him for so many years and promised them he would always remain their son and now they have a daughter-in-law and grandchild too.

They were pure kind-hearted souls who accepted the truth with open hearts.

It is difficult to find such good people in today’s times.

Aaru promised to herself that she would soon figure out a way so that they would not have to live very far away from whom they loved as their son. Shamit too felt reluctant to bid them goodbye but assured them he would never leave them.

I wonder how God was so harsh on two of the noblest souls of earth, my Aaru, and Shamit. He perhaps tests those whom he believes would be able to endure his tests and even come out victorious with flying colors.

The news of Aaru, the woman who was looking for her vanished husband is finally able to find him, spread like wildfire in the region. Blessings poured from all directions.

People’s belief in the power of true love was restored once more. The pure soul did find her lost love and soon they were home, taking blessings from the elders.

Adarsh apologized to Shamit who didn’t take a moment to forgive him. He possessed a big heart and believed to err is human.

Moreover, he didn’t want to reduce the unparalleled happiness he was experiencing in those divine moments of being reunited with her love.

He had been quiet for seven long years not remembering anything but experiencing an excruciating pain which he could not fathom was of what. Now, he knew it was Radha’s yearning for him that was pulling him back towards her. He realized how helpless he was and how miserable his Radha would have felt all these years.

Nevertheless, all’s well that ends well. Shamit wished to put all this behind and make up to her for all that she had missed in the past seven years. It indeed was a new beginning for them.

His deepest regrets were also of missing the seven most crucial years of his daughter growing up.

He would not be able to rock his little baby in his arms anymore but on the brighter side, he could now chit-chat with her and could also teach her painting if she had an inclination towards it.

He smiled to himself almost daydreaming of doing the same, as Aaru entered with two cups of lemongrass tea and played their all-time favorite playlist.

Chookar mere man ko, kiya tune kya ishara..

Kishore Kumar’s soft melody floated in the air as the two sipped on to their favorite tea and poured their heart out to each other while scrolling through Sharu’s childhood albums.

It was Aaru who broke the silence first.

“Today is undoubtedly one of the happiest days of my life.” She said with immense love oozing out of her eyes.

“Mine too dear and also it’s your birthday today. I don’t have a gift for you though,” whispered Shamit.

“You are my gift, Sham. I need nothing save you. These years have further reinforced my belief that I live to love you.” Aaru replied genuinely, from the bottom of her heart.

“I too live to love you. Though I could not remember anything after the fall, it was your true love that saved me. Your prayers kept me alive and sail the lonely quiet journey of seven years without giving up. I only wish I had not suffered from Amnesia and would have come to you earlier.” Shamit said embracing Aaru in her arms.

Honestly, she had missed those cuddles much above everything else.

“Hey, my hero, I know it has been painfully difficult for the two of us but now what’s gone is gone. Let’s start afresh again.”

Sham’s Radha replied awaiting new dawn in their lives. To be continued.

Truly Yours Roma
