Keen to set everything right was Aaradhya's earnest desire #RomanticThriller #BlogchatterA2z

Hello, this April I am weaving a Romantic thriller where Aaradhya is waiting for her love Shamit, who has vanished seven years ago. The story is being narrated by their best friend Riya. In case you missed the earlier chapters of this timeless love saga, 'I Live To Love you', you can read them here, chapter1, Chapter2 ,Chapter3,Chapter4, Chapter5, Chapter6Chapter7, Chapter8  Chapter9and Chapter10

Chapter11

Shamit was an intelligent and compassionate man though he kept them hidden below the layers of his wit and humor. Deep in his heart, he wanted to give Aaradhya all the happiness of the world, much more than anyone could imagine or even fathom. She was very precious to him. He didn’t want to cause her the slightest pain and still and here they were surrounded by an unknown fear.

He literally didn’t want to go for any advanced medical checkups. He wanted nothing to go wrong and yet to rule out that possibility and make their ‘happily ever after’ happen he had to do what he feared the most. But more than his fear, Aaru’s mental state mattered to him.

She was innocently looking out of the aircraft window into the clouds, clad in a bright pink salwar kameez and Dupatta with matching bangles and Bindi on her forehead.

“Radha, my love, what are you looking out at? Look here in my eyes....I have so much to tell you...”

He wanted to say but instead, he picked up his jovial demeanour and mumbled in her ears,

“Someone looks lost in deep thoughts planning to torture the poor victim trapped in her love, further.”

This brought a smile to Aaru’s face.

“How do you know, mister painter? The plans are big, really big but you have to be a sport, alright!”

She winked. Little moments of joy like these were indeed beautiful.

“You doubt that! Your wish is my command Radha😊.”

He took a bite of the sandwich just served to them.

"I don’t believe you. Will you do everything I say?"

"Yes, of course. Try me girl and your Sham wouldn’t let her Radha down."

Aaru didn’t want to bring up the topic. They were having a moment and it would be brutal on her to bring the topic up but did she have a choice. It was time to persuade Shamit to get further checkups down.

She was hopeful that nothing untoward would happen and even if something was a little wrong an early detection would fix it. That’s what the doctor in her strongly believed. She was keen to set everything right if anything did go wrong. Her resolve had always been this unshakable.

"Well then, let’s go to Dr. Pradhan tomorrow and be sure your passing out on our wedding night was a stray event."

Whether or not he says it, Shamit’s mind too was meandering in those lanes like Aaru and he decided to suppress his deepest fears,

"Sure, my love! Promise! If this bothers you so much, let’s fix this first. Who can deny the request of such a pretty lady sitting next to her? "

He smiled deciding to lighten the mood as Aaru kept juggling with his fingers entwined in hers.

"Thanks! Come what may we are always going to be together Sham. I too promise."

She had acknowledged their deep fears.

Together they exhibited a very strong will to face them head-on.

Soon they landed and headed home. Aunt Sandy received them at the gate as she had reached Pune three days before them. The entire home was decorated. Her joy knew no bounds as she welcomed her son and his new bride. He had always adored Aaru for her gentle soul, in her eyes she had always been the most well-behaved kid.

“Welcome to your new and forever home Aaru. We have been waiting to make you all ours, for years now.”

She said with a warm smile.

"Thank you, mamma!"

Aaru replied in her sweet voice giving her a warm hug.

The next day as Aaru has already spoken to Dr. Pradhan, he examined Shamit at length and some advanced tests were conducted. All the reports would arrive in two days.

When I spoke to Aaru on phone she sounded very hopeful that everything was absolutely fine. Prima facie Shamit appeared a very healthy and happy normal young man trained in the army for the past years. The possibility that anything could go wrong was very low.....

But then life happened. Destiny tests you every moment and ensures life is never a cake walk but it entirely depends on us how we decide to tackle it.  Either we succumb to it or we take charge! Do you agree?

The test results were awaited and I would share the reports with you tomorrow.
