This Is To My Friend Ayesha, Who Taught Me Calmness

Indian Bloggers
Your soul is reflected in the words you choose to utter but if you are short-tempered and spit it out at the moment despite of having a clear heart chances are you may come across not as such a welcome person. Though you may realise it in a couple of minutes and seek apology or explain but the wrath has already taken its toll on the other person's heart.

There's another category of people who aren't short tempered but are too vocal when they stand for any other person's rights and go to any extreme to fight it out. Unfortunately, not many appreciate this attitude and odds are you loose your loved ones too in the long run. Trust me, words have that impact.

Until about a year ago, I was one such person who loved to speak her mind aloud at the spur until I found a dear friend Ayesha. We are poles apart in everything and there is nothing common amongst us and probably that's what weaves our chalk and cheese combination so strong.

Since she has walked into my life, she has taught me a lot of calmness. I feel her infectious silence has rubbed on me and all her advice to me have been bang on. I have learnt to tackle the most difficult times with utmost patience and dignity, though I know the other person is wrong but I shall place my point later when he/she would be in a better state of mind to understand me. By that time even I would have judged the situation better and will give a more matured handling to the matter.

This makes me feel I have suddenly grown up, from someone who lost her temper at the drop of her hat to someone who now generously forgives and takes pride in keeping mum and speak only when it's needed. This also increases the value of your words when they are spoken. I owe this transformation to you dear Ayesha and I owe my deepest gratitude to you for imbibing it in me. May our friendship only grown fonder and deeper till eternity. Love you to the moon and back.

Bringing to you the Jug of my Dear Zindagi

Indian Bloggers

I am not a movie buff but meaningful cinema close to real life is very me and I really look forward to such soft touching films with a heart-warming and thoughts tinkling message.

One such movie which is going to hit the theaters soon is 'Dear Zindagi' whose teasers have appeased my soul and persuaded and coaxed me enough to dig out most secrets about it before I watch the first day first show on 25th November.. This is when I discovered my all time favorite The Majestic Shahrukh Khan plays a bestie to the bubbly Alia Bhatt in the much awaited movie. Alia lovingly calls his most trustable friend Jahangir Khan the reel name of Shahrukh in this heartwarming tale as 'JUG' which is quite amusing as well as interesting and the real story behind the nomenclature still remains a tight lipped secret. As I  gear up to watch this magical movie made by my favorite director Gauri Shinde, I thought why not I share about the Jug of my life too, who is the sweetest piece of my heart.

She is none other than my most beloved and hidden from the world friend Kirti. Well it is rare that a writer falls short of words to describe her friendship but the magical relationship that I have with her is one whose divine bonding all the words of the world put  together fail to describe.
She is my 2 a.m. best buddy who is a incomparable magical pot of right advises for you no matter how tricky a situation you are trapped in. We have been together for over 10 years and it's not that we meet everyday but whenever we do the amount of fun, giggling and naughtiness that fills the atmosphere is one of its kind and if not we are united in our words  and deeds forever through our phones.

What keeps the spark of our friendship alive is the way our attributes complement each other. While I am an emotional creative bee she is one sweet girl always bubbling with practical wisdom. She is a bond and a wonderful  homemaker, an example of perfection to so many. I love her impeccable ways of dealing with the most gruesome situations of life where anyone would have given up but she pulled through and not just barely managed but adorably so.

I have innumerable sweet memories with her and I continue weaving infinite more each day.We were married the same year and were immediate neighbors, that's how we met. While I worked from 7 to 7 it was worth the effort for a hot cup of tea she served me with all her prudence and love each day when I returned. That is where a strong foundation of our friendship was laid. Our children were born with a difference of 26 days too. God has united us like two real soul sisters do and I can never be grateful enough to Almighty for conferring her to me.Later she shifted to Mumbai and me to Pune but the strings of our heart are connected in a priceless bond. We talk each day and I love to love her and soak myself in her unconditional life and guidance.

She is and will always continue to be the fragrance of my life, my JUG, this little piece is an ode to our friendship, love.

On My Birthday Today, Raising a Toast to Our Priceless Friendship with 'Yaaron Ki Baraat'

File Photo with my Bestie of Decades

Friends are the best things that came happen to you in a lifetime and I am that lucky one who by God's grace have them in abundance. My friends truly are my heart. What better proof can I furnish, I am married to my chaddy-buddy of 25 years.

Owing to the great friendship of our dads, I have been almost born and brought up with him, just that he entered the world ten months before me. From walking hand in hand to our kindergarten carefully through the corner of the roads, to facing adolescent dilemmas to admitting our first crushes to each other we have shared it all. From as long back as I remember our moms always brought the same cloth to stitch my frock and his shirt , our first cycles were similar and our dads even celebrated our birthdays together to cut costs or in all probability to raise a toast to their friendship which we only understand now.

Incidentally today is my birthday too and I am feeling so blessed to write this treatise, this ode on friendship for my best friend of life but does that mean he'll me my goody goody bestie who'll walk back from work with a cake and some red roses.. You're mistaken guys, he loves playing pranks on me and had played the worst of them mostly on my birthdays. And when I had burst into cries through his perennial teasing, he's the one who has persuaded me for hours and what followed were wonderful priceless moments with a wonderful gift, cakes and chcocolates. So I actually fear what's in store for me today! Nevertheless I absolutely love his mischief and the fact that it's not a man and a wife but two best buddies who reside in my home sweet home.

Its Funny to Marry A Man who knows all your Secrets

I am no less. While he has never leaked any of my secrets and buried them forever in his heart, I had always ditched him on this front. Whether it was a news of his new crush which changed quite frequently or the fact that he has a loan of Rs: 14 on the local grocers, I will always give it away smilingly only to be beaten up by him later. He insisted most of the amount of loan was for the chocolates he bought for me why the hell will I agree after eating them up. But all this was only between us, if a third friend said something about him, I would not listen a word and will fight him out with all my might.

With the advent of adolescence, as I was gradually blooming from a bud to a flower, I started despising wearing the same cloth dress as his shirt and got busy with the new friends I made but somehow we always managed to make time for each other. There is something so special about friends, you will always hang around each other exactly at the moment the other one needs you the most without at all showing it off.

Ours was a very adorable kind of friendship where he always made fun of me and kept pulling my leg and I always tried to ignore him. We were now not the buddies who rode our bicycle to school together but if my cycle got punctured on the way, he was the one I looked for and I don't know how he always emerged at that moment to help me and the same holds good till today. He was and is always my Mr. Dependable and for more than 3 decades now we have stood by each other in thick and thin.

But at that tender age we were undoubtedly not that sensible enough to understand at that time that ours was a priceless unique bond of a lifetime God has created himself through his sacred hands. Time just flew past and in all our naughtiness we never realised we have grown up and even worse we don't know till today when we had fallen in love. Everyone around us could sense it but not we. Our friendship ran like blood into our veins by this time for us to even realise something else.

It's when we turned 22 and his dad was on death bed on account of some medical emergency and has expressed his last desire to see both of us married, did we have our first ever thought to it.
The Most Hilarious Wedding of Two Chaddi Buddies

And I am so glad we did for we soon realised we were meant to me together forever. Our love did become the superset of our deep rooted friendship but the foundation still is of the two tiny chaddy buddies walking hand in hand this time on the crossroads of life. Our extreme inter-caste marriage was an extremely hilarious event too with laughter and happiness prevailed all around.

Today our little boy is seven years old and its a pleasure to have a third best buddy in our gang at home and we three enjoy the same camaraderie, the same Love and Mastii, insane naughtiness as we two did when we were tiny.

Share a Hug with your friends and Witness the effect of the Priceless Midas Touch

From the bottom of my heart, I do believe there is nothing as deep, as profound, as strong as Friendship....This is most truly the best relation ever made, which is beyond any blood ties or societal compulsions!!

Luckily for me, a hosteler from a very tender age, my friends are indeed my lifeline and I am so grateful to Almighty I have so many of them to enrich my life and make this world such a wonderful place to live in....In my early 30's today, I still am in touch with most of them and never skip a chance to hang around with them and Share a Hug and some priceless laughter!

The reason for me choosing them as the anchor of my life is pretty simple though...yeah they are not the ones who are in my life because of a blood tie but because I have chosen them for myself...this deep yaari/dosti gives me a reason to smile , a shoulder to rest upon and above all a person who can pick me up and give a hug every time I fall, without a complaint..and I guess friendship is the only relation in this world which has least expectations and complaints too :)

The fact that I married my childhood best friend, itself proves the significance of Dosti in my life and I am so glad I did...As I today proudly celebrate my life with my bestie weaving sweet memories each moment in the beautiful journey called life...as true friends , we love practically doing everything together whether it's hanging out, shaking a leg or grabbing our cozy corner for a lovely candlelight celebration often always bombarded by the sudden appearance of our large herd of friends who always know somehow e where we are...but that's how we love it too..the more the merrier...we all are inseparable beyond all doubt and love going crazy and giggle without a reason...Our life Mantra delves in leading the life with utmost fun but always remembering to celebrate responsibly too with hurting anyone physically or emotionally!

You know what the sweetest part of our group of buddies is the special care each one takes of the other...If you would think deeply, it indeed means a lot folks...we don't let anyone feel low...if we see someone hanging down his face in a deep worry, we just share a hug , a very heartfelt one with him/her  and you'll be surprised to witness the Midas Touch impact it has on the other..The gloomy face suddenly gleams in golden shine, such is the power of friendship and a true friend's hug, my dears!Do give it a Try....

Cheers for the most Divine Human Tie "FriendShip" !

 Enjoy and Live Life Kingsize

     ...Truly Yours Roma

Lookup Stories : My moments of absolute Hope and Optimism are those spent with the angelic MIARA

Hey Folks,

I have always lived to believe that life is beautiful and always looked up to the first rays of sun early morn, as the rays of hope... absolutely motivating ...but a few minutes later as I pick the newspaper, my heart is shattered to see it full of news-pieces of heinous crimes and corruption......My heart is about to sink in deep despair when a thought of someone really special almost miraculously lifts my spirit..In my life, that special someone, definitely worth ans expression Straight From the Heart, is my best-friend Miara...For me every moment spent with her is pure inspiration, full of positivity for life...Yes dears, most  truly, every-time the darkness of pessimism engulfs me, looking at her ever-smiling face and deep eyes reinforces a staunch optimism in me...The moments I spend with her are absolutely divine for me and trust me she deserves much more praise than this...In this blogpost, I bring to you, her real #LookUp worthy story which is undoubtedly contagiously inspiring......

"My association with Mother Teresa's Child Care Homes (as the Orphanages are called) dates back to my childhood....And as I have grown up, my connection to the lovely kids out there has grown Fonder and Deeper..I clearly remember, for umpteen number of years now, my heart has been filled with empathy for all those lovely damsels, whose so called near and dear ones abandoned them on the path of life...My best friend Miara is one such abandoned little Girl, on whom the biggest atrocity of fate was that she knew the reason why parents have left her alone in this cruel world.......And at a tender age of 5 her mom and dad (I dont know if it is right to call them so, for I place parents next to God ) have left her on the roads of Agra City, mercilessly. And, can you guess for what grave Fault of my tiny darling..... ??

Her gravest crime in her parents' eyes was that she stammered and so they will not be able to marry her off some day...What Pity, when in India they would stop considering a Girl Child a burden to be meant to transferred to someone else thru' marrying...Anyways , I never found my Miara problematic, I rather felt her parents were sick, really sick .... For My sweet Miara, was such an adorable child, she always hid all her sorrows in a locked corner of her heart and kept smiling gloriously...She had a beautiful smile which was enough to wash away all sorrows of the world....She was a real darling of everyone in the orphanage always ready to help others....For me,she always awakened optimism around her and I was so glad to be her friend.

My little Miara, loved studying and she was undoubtedly a sharp kid...and so the Child Care Centre authorities ensured she was  given a fair chance in the means of what was possible for them...Though I always felt like family in this Mother Teresa Centre in Agra, with all the awesome kids out there...I always felt a little more closer to Miara....She was a few years younger than me, but the harsh world, has made her grow up prematurely....As far as I was concerned at that point of time, I always saved all my Pocket Money to buys Gifts for the kids inthe orphanage, on Diwali and Holi....And my Dearie, Miara always informed me in advance what she really needed, as she knew her means and resources were really limited. We loved spending time with each other...Our Fondness for each other soon culminated into a sweet and deep Friendship of a lifetime. She was so innocent, full of life, with the purest heart,I have come across till date...

Yes, My Friend Miara,is extremely nice and caring ...I have never seen her uttering a word of complaint to the Almighty or to her parents...But I knew she was extremely traumatized behind her beautiful smile, as wide as river Nile... Every Single Moment she worked towards her Sole Ambition of overcoming her Weakness of Stammering, which she considered a curse of a lifetime on herself...She read a lot of books on speech therapy and wanted to become a Doctor...She would often tell me she wanted to set an example to others and give a lesson to fellow parents that they should not be playing with a Child's emotions for a Trifle cause like this....She was not able to forgive her parents.

But her road was tough extremely tough, tougher than anyone would believe for an orphaned girl.As she turned 14 she had to move out of the Child Care Center to a Charitable Trust's Girl Hostel...In sometime she figured out that this place was nothing short of a hell..This was a totally corrupt place with unending atrocities on abandoned Adolescent Girls...My Miara really did not know what to do and where to go....until one day, realizing that all her dreams were dieing an unnatural death, she ran away from the hostel..............ran with all her might....without giving up hope, at a single instance....such people are real source of optimism, had it been anyone else, he/she would have perished long back.

She than came to stay with us...This is when for the first time, I saw her going own on her knees both emotionally and physically, under severe pressure engulfing her from all directions and burying her in deep despair and vehement unbearable torture but she expressed to me,her desire to still fight it out and pave her way to her  dreams and so I seeked my dad's intervention..My dad fetched her a decent job in an All Women's Cooperative Society and with this began a new chapter in the life of my dearest Miara.

She started to work extremely hard both at her job and in studies...Her hardwork did not go in vain...In due course of time she got selected in the medical entrance examination...There was no looking back...On account of her merit, her fees was borne by the Birla Education Trust...Step my Step she now achieved various Well-deserved Milestones in her life...

Today several years later, she is a leading Speech Therapist at a Renouned Chain of Hospitals and A leading Social figure fighting for Female Child Rights...My best Friend till date and a lesson to infinite others, she is a remarkable woman...Her extreme will and determination became her profound weapons to achieve her goals in life...

She is the biggest asset in my life ...I Really #LookUp to her, for the strength of her character and am proud to share her story of grit with the world....The moments I spend with her reinforce my belief in optimism about life....And like always, looking at her ever smiling face and deep eyes, further strengthens my belief that Life Indeed is Beautiful!! "
