My Little Bubble's Space Mission to Save Momma : His Third and Priceless one from his #ColgateMagicalStories Series

It's exam time folks and my little one is elated as exam times are fun times in our house, I mean it literally. We believe in studying regularly and stay relaxed when needed to write the papers. Keeping the stress levels low and only a quick revision prevents over-burdening my tiny peanut's brain and not suppressing his mental ability. I prefer to let it rest a day before the exam so that he goes out as fresh as a daisy and applies the concepts in the exam paper to the best of his ability.

As a mommy I rather integrate more fun during these times to let his creative juices ooze out in a way that can be academically beneficial for him too plus makes his heart go ooh la la in excitement and happiness over his little sense of achievement. And guess that this time what came to my rescue? A couple of days before the social science exam, I lay my hands on the magical space adventure packs of #ColgateMagicalStories and I knew I have landed on my golden Talisman all over again. You know how every mommy always keeps some of her favourite cards in her pocket always to surprise her little bundle of wisdom. Last two years, he have already weaved many intriguing Colgate Magical Stories on the Magical Castle and the Sea World and there is nothing with makes his eyes shine is anticipation as much as to witness these new packs with altogether a new tale waiting to be brought to the world by mom's adorable story teller.

I was so right. On our way back from his bus stop, I told him there is a small surprise waiting for him on the table. This charged him immediately after a energy draining two and a half hours long English exam and he spread his priceless grin, that mom in me loves the most. In excitement, he covered the 10 mins long walk in I guess a little over 5-6 minutes and off he ran to his room only to be happiest little man on this earth.

"Woohoo, thank you, mom!

What will the characters be like this time?

Aah, I love Space Adventures.

I am a big boy now (will turn 8 soon), I will do it all by myself", his ecstatic pleasure just oozed out in words seamlessly as he thoroughly examined the pack.

And I knew Colgate has done it again, broken the monotony and help evoke creativity in the most fun way without even the little kiddo realising it (The icing on the cake this same excitement runs down his veins as he brushes his teeth with every mom's trust, Colgate, always hoping what surprise the next new pack will unfold for him). No, the school uniform was not changed, the lunch was not served, until he has cut open and had a sneak peak of all the adventurous space characters. I smiled in my heart as space was a significant part of the curriculum for his next exam and what better way to revise the monotonous subject than weaving stories around them.Thoughts and stories began churning in his brain and I had to literally pull him out to change and freshen up and have lunch before embarking on his space journey. Contrary to everyday, all of it was finished precisely in 15 minutes and impeccably.

What followed was a mommy sonny candid discussion over planets, rockets, satellites, astronauts etc. We talked everything from what would we like the characters to be knows as to how he wishes to become an astronaut when he grows up. Post that I gave him about an hour of free play to juggle with the characters and weave his best space adventure escapade and left his room.

Next, it was time for momma to be surprised with her little bubble's version of his space adventure. He did it even better added with more flavours of versatility when daddy darling came from work in the evening. I share it with you all, my precious readers, below in his own words.

Arsh's Space Escapade to Save Momma

"One bright Saturday morn, I got up late only to find mom not being around anywhere. Shiver went down my spines when I called her out many times but no one replied. It's then that my eyes spotted a letter kept on the dining table which stated that an alien from outer space has kidnapped mommy. Without wasting time I wanted to rescue her at all costs before he could harm her. I took the help of the astronaut uncle who visited our school some days back who took me to space with him in a rocket. He dropped me on a manned satellite from where I started my search operations in a space ship. Mr. Sun told me that I must check with Mr.Venus where all pretty ladies stayed. The alien might have trapped her there. But alas I didn't find mom there. On requesting Mr. Mars many times, he revealed he has seen some suspicious activity on the ringed Mr.Saturn where the alien often trapped lovely women who loved rings. I knew mamma loved rings a lot and so I rushed to Mr.Saturn in the way almost skipping a deadly clash with Mr.Comet. Hurray! I found Momma there and rushed to hug her. Tears rolled down my eyes for I have found my treasure my world back. Mom cuddled me in her arms like she always does. I planned to start back before the deadly alien arrived back and was about to take a flight, that's when I fell from my bed and woke up from my dream . Mom ran to comfort and hug me and I was most delighted to get her back both in my dream and reality.

My little Munchkin goes Treasure-Hunting with #ColgateMagicalStories

Last year, about the same time, when monsoon confined tiny souls indoor and prevented them from play, I and my little sonny, had a great time, with my little boy going wild in his imaginations and weaving awesome #ColgateMagicalStories. It was truly a pleasure to present My Little Angel's Masterpiece as my first ever Vlog last August. It undeniably satiated a mom's soul as for the first it was not me who was telling him a story but it was vice-versa.

Thus, no points for guessing that when we learnt that the new Colgate Strong Teeth packs are out with Sea Creatures and some related trivia inside in 4 different types of packs, the first one to jump out of bed was my tiny darling who could not hold his excitement to peep through the magical boxes and let loose the horses of his imagination. I admired the spark in his eyes and actually earnestly looked forward to his innocent and awesome stories, promising him that he can have the packs next day when he is back from school.

Sharp at memory, little sonny rushed home as he got down from his school bus. His charming grin revealed that only a 10 minutes quick lunch( which I would not let him skip under any circumstances) lied between him and his Colgate Magical Stories Sea Creatures.

Here you go! Excitement was undoubtedly in the air as he dived into his own world of marine fantasies with the super  cute sea creatures , characters and some lovely backdrops for the lovely stories that would soon be born.

The smart mommy in me decided to gift my 7 year old more independence this time with scissors (though I knew his cuttings may lack the finesse but practice makes a man perfect) and he took about an hour cutting the characters and assimilating them post which we had a candid discussion around each picture. His cute stories set on various backdrops and layouts, he chose each time, stole my heart and I myself got smitten by the charm of the characters thus becoming a child myself.

I recorded his lovely expressions when he endlessly keep narrating the lovely tales using the well conceived sea creatures, grinning and posing in between..

Moods and Moments on my Kiddo as he lets loose the horses of his Imagination

One of his story particularly amused me and brought the otherwise concealed adventurous side of my child in front of me. Icing on the cake was, he integrated the characters from the earlier magical castle Colgate packs (which he has kept safely with him for past 1 year) too in the story. My munchkin has imagined himself as the hero of the story (the Black Bearded gentleman) who goes treasure hunting . Here I bring to you his uninterrupted version of the story in his own words: 

"Once upon a time, a King and Queen lived in a magical castle near a vast sea with his prince and princess. The little prince was very sharp and always imagined to become a sailor when he grows up and discover new islands and treasures hidden there in.  

When he grew up, one day the King became seriously ill and there was not much money left with him to run the kingdom. He called up the prince, that is me, the black bearded man, and handed over a map to me. He told me that this map will lead me to an under water treasure but the sea is full of dangerous creatures. However , if I will stay kind to all of them, the Queen Mermaid who sits by the treasure will save me from all dangers.

Bidding bye to my dad, mom and sweet sister who kept looking at me thru' binoculars, I sat out on the sea. For 3 days, I sailed in the right direction when a huge storm hit my boat and broke it to pieces.

The huge waves swept me to a long distance and guess what, when I opened my eyes, I was surprised to see a beautiful glittering underwater castle in front of my eyes. It looked exactly like the one , I have seen in the map dad gave me.

Without much adieu, I looked around and found the huge box of treasure. My heart was so happy, I have found the treasure. But alas, a huge octopus sat on it! I remember what my dad taught me, I gently removed the octopus from it without hurting it the least and took the treasure. I also ensured none other sea creature got hurt in my act of removing the huge box.The Queen Mermaid was impressed by my kindness and arranged for me and the treasure getting dropped back.

My dad, mom and sister were so happy to see me come back safe with the treasure and we lived happily ever after with the people of our kingdom being happy too."

I loved his admirable innocent tale and in my heart expressed a strong gratitude to Team Colgate  for coming out with this truly adorable concept of #ColgateMagicalStories where the kids not only easily learn to imagine but also worthy human values like taking care of your family, get so deep imbibed in them in such a simple manner naturally.

Hola Mommies and Daddies!

Greetings to you, Straight From The Heart.....

You would recall, how I have been emphasizing on Buddy Parenting in my earlier posts, which brings out the best in our kids in the softest possible manner...and one of the best way to do so is to indulge our little ones in constructive thinking, giving wings to their imagination (Scientifically, we term this as Constructive Parenting whose immense power cannot be refuted)....In line with these principles, in our Super-Special DIY Rendezvous Today....I bring to you a creative fun weekend treat for your munchkins!

I know, you won't agree more, that our little peanuts are actually bundles of immense energy and thus it becomes imperative for us, to channelize this energy positively and in the right direction ...which is undoubtedly not an easy task and keeps us on toes always, to discover a new challenge that can stimulate their creativity in a fun way!

Especially a weekend like this when my little one is confined to four walls of home because of being unwell...I wanted to discover something that the creative freak would absolutely love....

That's exactly when I stumbled upon the #ColgateMagicalStories video on the web (embedded below) and was almost instantaneously swept off my feet for I have discovered exactly what I needed to interest my little prince and let his creative juices to ooze out....

Yeah, Colgate Cavity Protection Toothpaste packs with the wondeful dream Magical Castle and characters, were now on my mind and I headed straight to the nearby grocery store to pick them up and surprise my little wizard (who loves building and narrating stories ever since he was even tinier)with the same...

Haah! But my cyber-savvy 6 year old sunshine was a step ahead...he has already watched the Video and pounced on me with the warmest hug and his mystical grins...

Arsh( My son): "Wow! Magical Castle, This is what I wanted Momma, Love u, love u, love u!"

Me: "Love you too Darling!U didn't tell me you desired these so much??"

Arsh: " ............."! (Priceless Grins again )

Me : "I just thought let's spend the weekend building TOGETHER a lovely Magical Castle !"

Arsh: " Yeah Mom, I can't wait to check what I get inside the boxes; Here I go.............."

And the unending chit-chat and immense fun began...Since I myself love crafts, this was the best way to indulge in quality time with my tiny-tot in an activity that's my favorite too :) 

Day#1: For the next few hours followed the thorough inspection, some innocent smiles,some focused scissor work, getting together the nitty-gritties, the adorable scrutiny of the characters and discussions with mom-dad around them...

And the hardwork continued Post Lunch...While we were allowed to give mechanical help and share our ideas, our sunshine meticulously did his Castle building....followed by the cutest smile of satisfaction, as wide as River Nile!

He narrated to us some wonderful facts and fruits of his imagination like his Colgate Magical Castle is located on an island, at the center of a SEA which has red water and lots of colorful stones!He even used a red satin cloth and colorful stones from the aquarium, to bring his imagination to reality!It was really amusing but heart-warming too , to see his imaginations run wild...He had his own unique way of looking the characters....a lot inspired by real life! 

Day#2: Our next day was so enriched by some lovely cute and admirable stories around the King, Queen, The Prince and the Princess as well as the strong Knight who resided in the Magical Castle..They were extra special for us as they came with the biggest lesson from a child that ill health cannot deter the mental strength, as he kept churning his brains, though not being on peak of his health....I recorded the story that I loved the most as he has named the Knight - "Colgate" and has made this Colgate Knight make the "Charming Prince" bid goodbye to Toothache Forever!!Here's the video of our interactive mastii while building the #ColgateMagicalStories <3 <3

Astoundingly Impressive, isn't it ??
