Happy Women's day All you Lovely Ladies out there! 

My Heartfelt thanks to you for giving my Blog a piece of your heart...You know that you have added a new meaning and recognition to my life and make me feel so special for I connect with you Straight From the Heart...

Expression is a beautiful gesture we refrain from often...The folly undoubtedly is not ours.... Traditionally , in India,from times umpteen, girls have been taught to keep quiet, to contain our feelings for different reasons...But the times have changed and it's high time we Voice Our Opinion.....Time to shun all inhibitions lady....Express your heart out...Good or Bad, do share...and realize the Power of Expression...

It's time we bring about a paradigm shift to the way Indian woman are perceived in society....I am a staunch believer in Woman Power and have taken a deep pride in being a Modern Indian Woman...By modern undoubtedly I don't imply that I am not attached to our rich traditional roots but have grown up to be a more liberal human being with great respect for gender equality...And in my opinion, Women Empowerment and Safety are the two gravest concerns particularly in our mother nation today...We may boast of that Indian Women are even working with NASA today and hold top positions in all walks of life, walking shoulder to shoulder with their male counterparts but the fact they not even comprise of a total 10% of the total female population....A majority of them still are around the poverty line, bearing all atrocities and looked down upon....It is a grave shame that we are globally among the worst hit nations by heinous crimes like female infanticide and rapes and for that matter even marital rapes....Our poor sex ratio is a clear indicative of the heart breaking fact...I am not trying to paint a grim picture friends, but just giving you a flavor of the bitter reality we all know but avoid...But all said and done, we are a part of it directly or indirectly.....No-one else but we have to be the "Face of the Change"...the Ray of Hope.

How to be that That Woman of substance, the pioneer of change, in our smallest possible way, for ourselves and many others like us, is a subject that has  always dwelled in my heart...For me the solution is  to "Express-Straight from the Heart, raise your Voice, against any atrocity on you, your friend or relative"...Yes dears, half of our pains are because we choose not to speak about them,compelled by the fear of the hypo-critic society thinking that what will people say...and because you did not speak out, you are further oppressed and the vicious circle continues..

Rise up and Say no to it, sweethearts...You indeed deserve not the better but the best...Firm your belief in yourself, realize that the road is gonna be tough and then choose to assert yourself...Below I bring to you some Key Mantras of how to be a Woman of Substance, who does not not shy away from asserting herself straight from the heart:

1.Speak your heart out and always retain your feminine sensitivities: Trust your instincts, you are the axis of your family...Speak your heart out, express, don't let your opinion and discrete feelings die in your heart...The onus of your actions lies completely on you..Your children will learn exactly what you portray to them....your talents and desires and even anguishes must be voiced...Let your family realize how special you are...Don't just be let taken for granted...Be the torchbearer of a positive change.


2.Be Confident and overcome all odds with determination: Life undoubtedly cannot be a bed of roses everyday..but don't let the thorns bleed you everyday...yearn to discover your way out of those thorns confidently and prudently and lead by example, your life will soon be filled with the smell of roses...discuss things out with family and peers...say no to any oppression and injustice of any form...and fight them out with determination.


3.When there's a will, there's a Way: It is extremely essential to create your identity ladies...it is not all of us must be working, but must definitely carve out our niche in any field we excel at, to satiate our own souls...Trust me, this recognition is soul food for us and boosts are spirit incredibly...never think, it is too late, just say you can do it and you see infinite routes presenting themselves, to fulfill your dreams, darling...Speak out, what is it, that makes you stand out of the rest...


4.Be Calm and thoughtful, for a Calm Mind an overcome Anything: Stay Calm, it is the best way is to be in control...Once you will be in control, you will be able to take best stand on a situation, never express impulsively...wait, think and than speak wise..This is an attribute all great women have always exhibited..I know this is easier said than done, in one's everyday hustle-bustle and multi-tasking responsibilities but we can start by taking baby steps in the right direction...


5.Be optimistic always, life tests us everyday: Be the positive vibe...Stay positive..try to look at a situation optimistically and you will witness the ray of hope shining strongly from behind the dark clouds...Hold on to it tightly and no situation is hard to overcome..The innate achiever in you, which is still dormant, will do the rest sweets.


6. Take pride in Yourself:Last but not the least,  always and always, have your head firm on your shoulder..take pride in who you are...even if you have made a mistake, accept it politely as to err is human....but please do not accept anyone else's fault quietly...Don't sabotage your freedom to speech..Be empowered....Stay Safe...You need that powerful voice to challenge and punish the inhuman animals who subject us to such heinous crimes against humanity..Never ever think you are the weaker sex, kick them hard with your weapons of knowledge and awareness...Come Forward and awaken the "Woman of Substance" in you...

My Happy Adorable Baby : Absolute Contentment to Mamma's Heart

A. Dry Baby, happy Baby

Hello Darlings!!

Today would love to share with you, some lovely moments of my Motherhood Diary....Bringing to you a glimpse of the lovely things that make my tiny prince happy....as those are the moments of absolute joy and satisfaction to a mommy's heart and make my life beautiful...want to etch the imprints of these blissful together happy times on my heart, forever <3

Of course the prerequisite for my cute little sonny to spread his adorable grin are he must be comfortable...His tommy must be full and he must be dry and for this I ensure to be disciplined with his feed timings and that he wears the best quality diapers always....My Trust for Diapers earnestly are Pampers Baby Pants for I trust their Magic Gel Technology immensely...not even at one occasion has my delicate darling, developed a diaper rash or got wet inside and gets up like smilingly exactly like the baby in the Lovely commercial of pampers embedded below:

When he is full and dry, my little sonny is quite a gentleman actually :D.....And always loves to keep himself engaged.....Thinks that make him utmost happy are :

1. Chatting with Daddy Darling : Playing with dad when he is back from work,elates my little wonder the most...I love the way he always welcomes his dad with a lot of excitement and a smile, as wide as river Nile...I see them talking softly thereafter,with my little one cooing in consent...Seems like some serious man-to-man talk :)

2.  He loves outings : This is one sure thing that makes my baby happy...yeah, at his tender age,he is quite a party animal and loves to dine out and mingle....His adorable activities on the outside are watch-worthy and I am always ready with my cameras to record these priceless moments...ad ensure he strolls out with us often.

C. Yo! I love to Party!

3.Absolutely enthralled by Excitement: He is so so Happy to be thrown up in the air and caught back, he laughs and giggles at the excitement without fearing a bit...Bestest possible example of Pure Innocence and Trust...We get tired but his excitement and happiness doesn't last...I know it gives me pleasure beyond compare....

D. I also love to fly up like a Balloon

4.Overjoyed to observe things:   My little buddy keeps gazing at his toys for minutes as if he is communicating with them and smiles occasionally too...To  the best of my abilities, I fail to understand , what internal happiness he gets by so keenly observing a toy or by gazing at the newspapers...My little wonder takes me by surprise in this... Everything I see him so focused on a toy, I smile to myself, without actually a real reason though..."I do believe the little ones are expanding their views about the world, through this."

E. I am Einstein in Making :)

5.Cuddling Times with Mommy Dearest : And undoubtedly he is the happiest when I cuddle him and Rock him in my arms...He is full of smiles and his eyes twinkle and trust me nothing is more pleasing to me in this world, than to see my beloved sonny super-elated...No matter how stressful the day has been, or how vicious life's circumstances are, that innocent smile, is capable of washing all worries away...

F.My Mom is the Best

Words fail me to describe the extreme joy and contentment I drive from my Baby's Happiness....Motherhood Indeed is so so beautiful and satiating ...

My Happy Baby undoubtedly is My Bundle of Joy !! Wish the list of things that makes him happy keep multiplying, today and always <3 May all the years that come along, remain in your heart like a song <3

Lookup Stories : My moments of absolute Hope and Optimism are those spent with the angelic MIARA

Hey Folks,

I have always lived to believe that life is beautiful and always looked up to the first rays of sun early morn, as the rays of hope... absolutely motivating ...but a few minutes later as I pick the newspaper, my heart is shattered to see it full of news-pieces of heinous crimes and corruption......My heart is about to sink in deep despair when a thought of someone really special almost miraculously lifts my spirit..In my life, that special someone,definitely worth ans expression Straight From the Heart, is my best-friend Miara...For me every moment spent with her is pure inspiration, full of positivity for life...Yes dears, most  truly, every-time the darkness of pessimism engulfs me, looking at her ever-smiling face and deep eyes reinforces a staunch optimism in me...The moments I spend with her are absolutely divine for me and trust me she deserves much more praise than this...In this blogpost, I bring to you, her real #LookUp worthy story which is undoubtedly contagiously inspiring......

"My association with Mother Teresa's Child Care Homes (as the Orphanages are called) dates back to my childhood....And as I have grown up, my connection to the lovely kids out there has grown Fonder and Deeper..I clearly remember, for umpteen number of years now, my heart has been filled with empathy for all those lovely damsels, whose so called near and dear ones abandoned them on the path of life...My best friend Miara is one such abandoned little Girl, on whom the biggest atrocity of fate was that she knew the reason why parents have left her alone in this cruel world.......And at a tender age of 5 her mom and dad (I dont know if it is right to call them so, for I place parents next to God ) have left her on the roads of Agra City, mercilessly. And, can you guess for what grave Fault of my tiny darling..... ??

Her gravest crime in her parents' eyes was that she stammered and so they will not be able to marry her off some day...What Pity, when in India they would stop considering a Girl Child a burden to be meant to transferred to someone else thru' marrying...Anyways , I never found my Miara problematic, I rather felt her parents were sick,really sick .... For My sweet Miara, was such an adorable child, she always hid all her sorrows in a locked corner of her heart and kept smiling gloriously...She had a beautiful smile which was enough to wash away all sorrows of the world....She was a real darling of everyone in the orphanage always ready to help others....For me,she always awakened optimism around her and I was so glad to be her friend.

My little Miara, loved studying and she was undoubtedly a sharp kid...and so the Child Care Centre authorities ensured she was  given a fair chance in the means of what was possible for them...Though I always felt like family in this Mother Teresa Centre in Agra, with all the awesome kids out there...I always felt a little more closer to Miara....She was a few years younger than me, but the harsh world, has made her grow up prematurely....As far as I was concerned at that point of time, I always saved all my Pocket Money to buys Gifts for the kids inthe orphanage, on Diwali and Holi....And my Dearie, Miara always informed me in advance what she really needed, as she knew her means and resources were really limited. We loved spending time with each other...Our Fondness for each other soon culminated into a sweet and deep Friendship of a lifetime.She was so innocent, full of life, with the purest heart,I have come across till date...

Yes, My Friend Miara,is extremely nice and caring ...I have never seen her uttering a word of complaint to the Almighty or to her parents...But I knew she was extremely traumatized behind her beautiful smile, as wide as river Nile... Every Single Moment she worked towards her Sole Ambition of overcoming her Weakness of Stammering, which she considered a curse of a lifetime on herself...She read a lot of books on speech therapy and wanted to become a Doctor...She would often tell me she wanted to set an example to others and give a lesson to fellow parents that they should not be playing with a Child's emotions for a Trifle cause like this....She was not able to forgive her parents.

But her road was tough extremely tough, tougher than anyone would believe for an orphaned girl.As she turned 14 she had to move out of the Child Care Center to a Charitable Trust's Girl Hostel...In sometime she figured out that this place was nothing short of a hell..This was a totally corrupt place with unending atrocities on abandoned Adolescent Girls...My Miara really did not know what to do and where to go....until one day, realizing that all her dreams were dieing an unnatural death, she ran away from the hostel..............ran with all her might....without giving up hope, at a single instance....such people are real source of optimism, had it been anyone else, he/she would have perished long back.

She than came to stay with us...This is when for the first time, I saw her going own on her knees both emotionally and physically, under severe pressure engulfing her from all directions and burying her in deep despair and vehement unbearable torture but she expressed to me,her desire to still fight it out and pave her way to her  dreams and so I seeked my dad's intervention..My dad fetched her a decent job in an All Women's Cooperative Society and with this began a new chapter in the life of my dearest Miara.

She started to work extremely hard both at her job and in studies...Her hardwork did not go in vain...In due course of time she got selected in the medical entrance examination...There was no looking back...On account of her merit, her fees was borne by the Birla Education Trust...Step my Step she now achieved various Well-deserved Milestones in her life...

Today several years later, she is a leading Speech Therapist at a Renouned Chain of Hospitals and A leading Social figure fighting for Female Child Rights...My best Friend till date and a lesson to infinite others, she is a remarkable woman...Her extreme will and determination became her profound weapons to achieve her goals in life...

She is the biggest asset in my life ...I Really #LookUp to her, for the strength of her character and am proud to share her story of grit with the world....The moments I spend with her reinforce my belief in optimism about life....And like always, looking at her ever smiling face and deep eyes, further strengthens my belief that Life Indeed is Beautiful!! "

Mamma's Birth Gift to my Sonny boy as he turns Six: Conferring WingsTo His Dreams

Hey Folks!

Here, I bring to you "Straight From The Heart" yet another lovely chapter of my most beautiful journey of "Motherhood".......

Time Just Flies....It seems only yesterday that my baby cooed in my arms...Today he has turned 6 and my big smart intelligent lad has already started to share with me his dreams....Most earnestly, I am enjoying all these candid innocent ambitions and mamma's heart is filled with pride to hear each one of them...So much I wish and pray that all those innocent desires get fulfilled and we as parents will do everything to give wings to our tiny darling's dreams...After all he is our World beyond all doubt!!

Actually, at such a tender age my little sonny is undoubtedly a very compassionate soul... ever since he was very tiny, he has dreamt of growing up to become a doctor and taking care of the sick and the needy...and though me and my hubby are both automobile engineers, we absolutely support him in his noble mission in life...and we are proud that even though he is so young, his focus is so impeccable..Not only my little wonder excels academically, but also exhibits great talent is every extracurricular activity...Whether it is public speaking, dancing, sports, participating in fancy dress or meticulously making a Gratitude card for his teacher, he always gives his best shot...As his parents, we are filled with absolute admiration for our cute little boy and we are with him always and come what may, we will do our bit for him.... We have discussed and planned this out for long enough, from even before his birth...and have mentally as well as financially prepared ourselves for the same....

As parents our goals in life are simple...We want to give the apple of our eyes, a perfect nurturing for him to become a good and capable human being tomorrow and make himself, his parents and his nation proud...And the most important step in this is to provide him with finest education...so that his talents are adequately channelized and the foundation for him to fulfill his dreams later in future is laid early and strong enough...

Mentally we have taught him rather still inculcating in him, to always stay focused and dedicated towards his goals...balancing his time between studies and play and humane values as we believe they will go a long way in aiding him to grow into a worthy well-educated human being who has the power to dream and also to fulfill his dreams...and in this we his parents will be his strong supporting pillars come what may...

Financially too we have secured that no matter how adverse the circumstances be in life we'll be able to cater to his educational requirements without fail and am so damn proud to say that our trusted partner in this AVIVA .... who like us believe that education is the best insurance in the world....We may provide our children ample of money and property but if we have not made them capable and not rendered them the desired upbringing and education, all that wealth becomes futile...On the contrary, if you may your child capable and give him educational wealth, he can amass any amount of comfort he desires...this fact forever dwells in our hearts and so we are have to secure our child's future with Aviva's Young Scholar Secure <3 <3 It's facilities like.....

This blog-post of mine is a Tribute to my beloved Dad, straight from the heart ....He is undoubtedly my admiration as well as my Inspiration....Words fail me to express my extreme gratitude to him.... Probably whatever I am today is only and only thanks to him...This is the reason why this soul-stirring video of HDFC Life of a dad and a daughter (#MyFamilyMyPride Ad Film) touches me deep inside my heart every-time I watch it ....like the dad in this video, my dad too taught me how to stand on my own feet and be independent no matter how adversely, life's circumstances hit you...never ever give up hope <3

Had it not been the support of my dad, both me and my dreams would have perished decades ago....Yes folks, I really mean it, I was born in a backward town on Northern India and as I was born a girl child , my Granny had ordered my dad to throw me away on a nearby dustbin, when my mom was still unconscious...so much she despised girls, she had six of them herself (her daughters) and she forgot she herself was a girl....I fail to understand till day, how could one be so heartlessly ruthless....

But my GREAT DADDY thought otherwise...he tenderly picked his newborn in his safe arms that day and bid adieu to his mom forever promising  her that he will make his daughter what none of the boys of their family had ever become and only then return home...I remember how hard he has yearned to give me the best grooming and best education despite of the humble beginnings he had in his professional life...He was an extremely focused and sorted individual who has always planned meticulously to secure his children's future....and invested in the right Insurance Plans with the Right Organisation....always.

B. Financial Planning is the Key

It was his impeccable guidance that I always stood out of the rest and not only excelled academically but in several extra-curricular too...and whenever I was distressed and downtrodden , he has been my guiding light who always showed me the right path, no matter how difficult the path initially seemed...he has inculcated in me the never-say-die spirit to fight it out till the end...I still remember how there was a printing error on my 10th board exams' mark-sheet that had 48 marks printed in place of 98, which shattered all my dreams completely...It was my dad who trusted me and made me apply for a scrutiny and filed a case in Allahabad High Court...He stood like a pillar behind me...Thanks to his faith, I won the case and took admission in my dream institute on merit basis...I still remember his words - "Daughter! Your Daddy has saved enough to put you in an institute you desired, but I wanted you to earn it on your Merit!" ....This was the first lesson of Independence and self-reliance he gave me...He really knew "Kaise Apno Ko Apne Dam Pe Jeena Sikhaen" <3

And after that there was now, no looking back for me, with the lessons taught by daddy darling, I faced all obstacles in life head-on....At one instance which shaped my career, I missed the Counselling, where the Engineering College was to be allotted to me in accordance to my rank in All India Entrance Examination.....as the counselling letter reached late by a day,  in my small town....Without blinking an eyelid, I traveled overnight to reach Lucknow, at the counselling venue....Upon reaching the counselling room, it dawned upon me that my rank has long passed and I have bee marked NON TURNED UP....But by this time, I had come to know that I am "Destiny's Chosen Child", chosen by Almighty himself to be tested again and again ( yes, I mean it ).......I did not loose hope and spoke to almost all college representatives present...eventually one of the Professors of a Govt. College used his special veto to grant me a seat as my rank was 364 and all my hardwork should not go in vain......I came out of the room and informed my dad...With tears in his eyes, he lifted me in his arms...That day I had fulfilled his dream...and also he has taught me what he wanted to....yeah, he has made me independent person and a fighter who just won't QUIT.....I soon graduated to become an Automobile Engineer with an awesome international career ahead.....

And guess what when I received my Gold Medal for B.Tech Honors my dad brought in my Granny for the Award ceremony...For the First time , my Granny hugged me....I am glad I became the pioneer of this change in her mindset , all thanks to my GREAT DADDY <3 <3 ...... HE HAS REALLY TAUGHT ME "APNE DAM PE JEENA"....

Truly he is a man of great wisdom,who deserves special mention... I can never forget how he cornered himself from all the pleasures of the world, to give me the best education.....He worked so hard all through his life, to make me stand on my own feet... He used to walk 12 kilometers if I needed some important book for my studies, to save the money spent on rickshaw...Yet he used to teach poor children for free in the evenings for  he always believed that only educated people can build a strong nation and society...It is not that he did not have money, he hated wasting money.......He is a apostle of unconditional love, never ever spent a penny on himself, and has taught me how to respect all, how simple it is to forgive and to save and insure for the grey days always....He motivated me to dance and complete my Diploma in Bharatnatyam because he knew I loved it.... I drive my philanthropic urge too from him...He is my teacher, my guru, my best friend..need nothing in life, save a dad like him…

His uncountable sacrifices have borne fruits and so has his financial planning with right organisations like HDFC Life which never made me feel the dearth of resources, in marching ahead to fulfill my dreams...Today I am a successful professional, an automobile engineer,a blogger, a passionate bharatnatyam dancer as well as a doting mother of a 5 year old, only thanks to him..Am so proud of you dad and love being always called a “DADDY'S GIRL”....I repeat, words really fail me to express my gratitude to you for teaching me how to live life on "APNE DAM PE"…confidently.

Here is a message for my dad, from the core of my heart , my note of gratitude to him:

"Thank you dear dad,

For not only giving me life,

But also teaching me, how to make it worthwhile!

For not only teaching me how to walk,

But also, how to plan life's most difficult paths!

For not only inculcating in me my first thoughts,

But also, the deep strength to fight no matter what circumstances befall!

For not only hugging me whenever I fell,

But also for the unconditional love which is still filled in my heart!

Whatever I am today is only because of you,

Dear dad, thank you......!!

Rearing my child,exactly like you taught me...

With every passing day, I admire you more n more, dear daddy !!”

Here, I also express my heartfelt gratefulness to HDFC Life Team and IndiBlogger Family for giving me this lovely opportunity to express my gratitude to my dad for teaching me to live "Apne Dam Pe"......

As a parent, I wish to do exactly the same for my little boy and am proud to partner with the trustworthy HDFC Life for the same!!
