Gratitude

A heart soaked in gratitude

Is kind and understanding

It values humans

And the power of good karmas genuine

No matter how much more or how less we have

We must acknowledge its worth

Be grateful to the lord

For all that he has conferred to us

I have practiced gratitude all my life

Thanking others with all my heart

Fills my soul with love and peace

And reinforces my belief in humanity

When I was tiny around four

Separated from my parents for education

My maternal aunt reared me like her own child

Giving me the foundation of what today I have become

My parents, teachers, friends and strangers

have all done a lot for me

And honestly words have often failed me

to express my gratitude to them

But I keep their love and memories

Safe in my heart

Often remembering them

and what from them I have learned

They have enriched me as a person

And my gratefulness for them knows no bounds

My mom always taught me

To bow down in front of the worthy

Till today every day I meet new people

Who influence my life in multiple ways

I am thankful to them too

And most of all to my family

At this juncture in life

I am indebted to all of you for your kindness

For giving me and my blog a place in your heart

I can’t honestly express my gratitude in words
