Brave-heart He Was Not ~ Vol 2 of the Series 'Lost Love'

Indian Bloggers

This is Volume-2 of the ongoing Series ‘Lost Love’ on Truly Yours Roma. You can Read Vol~1 : A Secret Affair Here.

Like I was saying, I found Priyam’s positivity and self-affirmation very intriguing and contagious for I have never seen someone as focussed and clean hearted. She was indeed calm as a placid sea yet one can’t avoid witnessing a crazy storm in her eyes.
Her, self invoked rays of inspiration, filled her space as she woke up. It was a blissfully sun-soaked morn and Priyam was among the first few to reach 126 CN, the main lecture hall for the first year computer engineering students. Ironically she looked absolutely stunning in the white salwar-kurti mandatory during the ragging period for freshers. She chose to sit in the second row while her eyes remained glued to the entrance of the class for she feared cross-ragging and prayed that the teacher entered the class before the seniors to whom she has already fallen a prey twice, the earlier day.
Her thoughts were broken by an authoritarian voice, “C’mon Girl, your intro quick!” he chuckled. She saw a tall dark clumsy looking guy standing right in front of her. Shifting stares and presuming that he was another senior who was already in there, she has just begun meekly, when touched by her candour and simplicity, he decided to reveal to her that he was not a senior but only her classmate and took the seat next to her. He secretively glanced at her and immediately abandoned his action as she was red in anger. Nevertheless, her glow enhanced in anger and he repented his silly prank which would have appalled her of him forever.
He was Meer, a gentle lad with a golden heart. Brave-heart, he was not but what happened in the last 10 minutes made him experience a soft unknown unheard of warmth in his heart. No one could have imagined that their connect at that moment was so eternal….
But Priyam’s rugged childhood has taught her not to trust. Thus it was never easy for her to make friends. Socializing was not her forte. Happy in her own space, she doubted the integrity of anyone who approached her. To further avoid any conversations she slept early and woke up at 4a.m. as this also was her way to stay focussed on her studies. Naturally as time elapsed, she was tagged as being arrogant and a recluse. Oblivious of all this and also of the fact that there was someone who noted her every moment and cared a lot for her, she so far remained a lone traveller in the journey of life…
Will Meer ever be able to break the ice between them? How will he approach her? Or will destiny draw Priyam towards him? Stay tuned for the Vol3 of ‘Lost Love’ , being released tomorrow right here on Truly Yours Roma. You can even subscribe with us to get each volume delivered to your inbox as soon as it is released.
