I Am A Rebel But That's How I am

Continued from 'Some Extraordinary Slices of My Ordinary Life' here : Part1,  2, 3,4, 5, 6, 7, and 8

Writing for me is never a medium to impress others, each little piece I write is a reflection of my soul and I write it for myself first. I write when I strongly feel about it though as I have evolved as a blogger, the experts in the industry have time and again taught me to choose my niche and exhaustively research what my readers want and serve on their platter exactly what they love from you the most.Well, while I don’t disagree to them and love and adore them for all their kindness and love, my rebel heart sings his own song(unfortunately it is like this since my birth and refuses to budge). It has a strong opinion about anything and everything under the sun. I am a women who feels strongly about being who she is and writes her personal take on life a lot, so you may call my blog a personal blog; I am a parent who shares her deep learning on parenting, so you may call by blog a parenting blog; I am a fashionista who cares for her beauty and keeps adding to and sharing her understanding of the latest trends and reviews them blatantly, so you may call me a fashion and beauty blogger.

Parallelly, I am an engineer who takes pride in writing about technology or any other niche with equal comfort. So yes, I like practically penning on every topic under the sun depending upon what’s high on my mind that day. People say that makes me a lifestyle blogger, so I really don’t know what I am, what I know is, I am a happy writer, content in my own space. Yes, I owe a fair chunk of this happiness to all of you, who have accepted me the way I am and time and again motivated me with your kind words of praise and motivation. You and life are my muses and inspiration, so if I get a request from you and my heart connects to it, I will go to any extent to fulfil it for you...here's an example.

It was the summer of 2016 and 2a.m. in the morn, when I received a ping from an Indian woman working in Australia... I don't know why I was awake at that odd hour. She was a top executive working there but still facing something terrible in the name of our at times hypocrite culture. She has penned her feelings with great pain and courage and I knew the inhuman behaviour has really broken her. She has made a request to publish it on my blog so that as many people as possible read it and may be someday somewhere a woman is spared this behaviour after reading this eye-opening true tale.

I was aghast to read what a educated fiercely independent woman too can face. I decided to bring forth these tales in black and white on a global platform and hence I signed up for the #AtoZChallenge under the series ‘Face of Change’. I had put in all my heart and soul in these posts and often cried while writing them. The response I got was beyond phenomenal and by far it has been my most successful series. I published and shared the true tales exactly at 2 p.m. and was flooded with loads of responses from women and sometimes men too in my inbox. They all shared how they felt they were the protagonist of the tale while some shared what they are through. I stepped into their shoes and wrote non stop each day. I also got the backing of many eminent bloggers and blogging community who motivated me to compile my true tales into an ebook. I didn’t know the a b c of it but I trusted my heart’s call and went for it, with all kinds of vital technical support incredibly provided by the Blogchatter Team. My baby was called ‘Dare to Defy The Destiny’ which is doing fairly well on Amazon till now. So this is how a person all hearts who breathes writing, became a published author and I wear it as a badge of pride on my heart♥️. Part10

To be continued in the next parts of #SlicesofLife Series on #TrulyYoursRoma in #AtoZChallenge this April.  I am writing on some extraordinary slices from my ordinary life.

Thank you so much for all the love and support you have always given me. Truly Yours Roma is nothing without you!
