Mum's Tried and Tested Mantra: Be Sure with PediaSure

Being a mum truly means the world to me. The warm feeling of motherhood never fails to tickle my soul and make it go ooh la la each day, despite the heaps of responsibility that it comes with.

Responsibility - it is indeed a humongous task which gets heavier if your little peanut is a fussy eater like mine. No matter how hard I try or how diverse the recipe I attempt, more often than not, the portion he devours is still too meagre for what is desired at his age. His nourishment is on my mind 24x7 to the level that I am always on the lookout for options which can cover up his needs for macro and micro nutrients vital for his growth, no matter where I go or what I do.

During one such extensive hunt for a healthy and nutritious supplement, I discovered a talisman which has worked wonders for my child and which his paediatrician recommended. When we found that my little boy was lagging behind in height-weight parameters, he asked me to introduce PediaSure to his daily meal intake and it had a magical effect on his health.

PediaSure is rich in 37 nutrients essential for a kid's growth. It is one of the most trusted names in children’s supplements globally and has been so for many years now. PediaSure is a meticulously researched formula that provides complete, balanced nutrition required by a child’s growing body and supplements the nutrition gaps that can arise due to fussy eating. The figure below in an indicative of the fact of the kind of goodness it enriches my child with.

PediaSure can be added to the little one's milk or can be constituted in water. I can also swear by all 3 flavours – Vanilla Delight, Chocolate and Kesar Badam which are undoubtedly quite yummy! You could also experiment a little with PediaSure recipes. One needs to be aware, however, that for your little munchkin to get the best out of it, make sure you don’t add PediaSure to the mix till after the temperature of the dish drops to below 35°C as higher temperatures will affect the probiotics present.

In my case, PediaSure has become a family member; it lets my little boy relish his meals and stay active during the day. It also means he learns to eat everything and also gains independence while at night his “Power Mamma” gives him 5 scoops of PediaSure added to 190ml of water. The taste soothes his taste buds and it satiates me that my child's drink complemented for all the desired nutrients he missed during the day. And a perfect nutrition means his risk to contract infections lessens and so do the number of sick days. What else can a mum ask for!

What you need to keep in mind is that PediaSure is not for children with galactosemia or who are lactose intolerant. The normal recommended age to start this is 2 years but it always helps to check with your paediatrician before you start.

Although PediaSure approached me to review their product as part of their #90DaysWithPediaSure campaign, all views and opinions expressed in my writing are my own. So follow me on #MyPediaSureJourney as I show you just how the supplement has worked out for my child over the next few weeks.

I reiterate, for me, PediaSure is certainly my tried and tested mantra to secure my kid's health and growth parameters and I would love to stick to it for ever. Based on my personal experience, I really think this is something all parents should consider.
