Let Nothing Ever Evade Our Smile

life

Life’s beauty lies in its unpredictability
And God further added a pinch of salt to it by making our destiny

On top of it he filled us with buckets of emotions
Lots of pity, pain and anger and a little of smiles and laughter

Or was it not this way
We have the habit of blaming the poor fellow every day

We have a tendency to sulk in times sad
While the happier times easily fly past

It’s nowhere but in the mind
All we have to do is embrace every happy or sad moment of our life

Like two sides of a coin
Striking a balance most of the times

No two days are alike my friends
Some bring clouds while others sunshine

Weave sweet memories of days that have mesmerised us in ecstatic joy
So that they aid us sail smooth, through the rough tides of life

The agonising times will put us down
Depriving you of all energy and deeply frowned

That’s the moment, we pick ourselves up
And with twice the vigour, hit back harder

The tougher the journey gets
We burn the pain in your heart like a flame

A flame of inspiration
Which draws us closer to our aims

Smiling as much as we can
Looking adverse times straight into their eyes and bidding them a gradual but permanent goodbye

Let our hearts heal with happiness and the acceptance
That no two days bring the same sunshine

No matter how adverse the circumstances befell

Nothing would ever evade our smile.

5 Questions to Ask Yourself Before Buying Jewellery for a Man

Top post on IndiBlogger, the biggest community of Indian Bloggers
Jewellery for Men
Jewellery is not something that only women enjoy wearing. From ancient times men have also adorned themselves in precious metals and gems. Today many men choose to shy away from wearing expensive jewellery. But with gender stereotypes being thrown into the trash, where they belong, women are wanting to pamper their men with jewellery as well. When you go to a jewellery shop, you can see the men’s jewellery collection steadily increasing due to the increasing demand.
Before you invest in buying any kind of jewellery for you man, you need to think a few things over.

Will Your Man Wear Jewellery?
The first thing to know before buying men’s jewellery is if your man will wear jewellery at all. Some men choose not to wear jewellery in their workspace since it might get damaged or it might send the wrong message. If the gift simply sits in a locker, then there is no point spending the money to buy jewellery. If your man wears jewellery out of their workplace, then you can go ahead and start your jewellery search.

What Piece of Jewellery Would They Wear?
Some men have piercings. You can buy diamond or gem studs for piercings. Necklaces and bracelets are not jewellery most men are comfortable wearing. Buying men's rings is the safest option. Rings can be worn for any occasion. Rings are inconspicuous. Rings do not come in the way of any kind of work that the wearer might be doing. Rings are also easy to store in wallets if the wearer needs to take them off. So, buying men's rings narrows down your jewellery search.

What Kind of Material Would They Wear?
The design of the jewellery goes hand in hand with the material of the piece. Buying men's rings is easy due to the material that is used to make them. Silver, gold, and platinum are materials that make the perfect men’s jewellery. Men tend to shy away from blingy jewellery that has too many precious stones and gems. Matt finish is the best when it comes to men’s jewellery.

What Would Be a Perfect Size?
Buying men's rings requires purchasing the right sized ring. An ill-fitted ring will not be on the wearer’s hand for too long.  Going to a jeweller and getting the right size of jewellery measured ensures that you do not end up spending money on a piece of jewellery that will not be worn.
How Can You Check If They Like It Before You Buy It?
If you are not sure about whether your man likes wearing jewellery, you should never surprise him with bling. Always show the jewellery that you are about to buy before you buy it. You do not have to ask your man to go from store to store, sampling jewellery. Online jewellery stores offer authentic jewellery that you can shop from home. Share the links of the jewellery that you want to buy and let your man select the jewellery that they will wear.
Show your man some love with the perfect piece of jewellery that they can treasure and flaunt.

5 Vital Reasons Why You Must Strike A Balance Between Being A Mom and Wife

Top post on IndiBlogger, the biggest community of Indian Bloggers
5 reasons why me must strike balance between being a mom and wife

I love life. I love people. I love to love and it is what makes me happy. It is how I have always been, it is how I am and it is how I always will be. Very sensitive yet very opinionated, I am a person of my own will who loves to help people, embrace their pains and give them smiles in returns and I love this special ability of mine which comes with a drawback that if I dislike someone I can’t fake my affection to him or her for I associate my emotions with him or her. However lately I have learnt the act of balancing. This destiny’s favourite child in her mid-thirties now feels it is appropriate to establish balance in all walks of her life whether professional or personal. The learning didn’t come from outside but from within, from my learnings in my own relations, two of the most important out of which are being a wife of a wonderful human being and a mommy of a precious little sunshine.

In my last two posts this month in my inspiration series, I have strongly emphasised the healing power of staying positive and happy and how we much worship the shrine of our soul. Again, for our own most benefit we must take ardent care of the valuable relations of our life.

I and S have had a love marriage after several years of being best friends to each other and loving each other unconditionally. I presume of all the things that he would have liked in me, my ability to love him the way no one else ever can, would have struck a chord most with him and my mushy-mushy cuddly love continued after our wedding too. He was the centre of my world and I cared for every tiny need of his to perfection to the point that I almost made him addictive to my love....and when this perfection and addiction was as it’s peak in our rosy world, motherhood knocked at my doors in softest step and changed my world forever.

Baby A arrived preterm and evoked a thousand new tender emotions in me. He tinkled my soul and I was totally immersed and soaked in rearing our little munchkin along with managing my full-time travel based dream job. The centre of attraction of my world now shifted to my little love and in all this, I forgot completely about the man whom I have got so addicted to myself and my love.

I was good, I could love like no one else but there I was far far away from balancing my love. Of course, I loved S but never knew as a new working mom who has just got a C-Section surgery done, I completely overlooked the guy who has stood like a rock for me in thick and thin for so many years. Yes, I reared baby A to a decent level, but never did I realise you can’t take the other relations on your life for granted and focus all your energies on just one. S never made a complaint but would turn hysterical at the thought or discussion of having a second child and I found his behaviour strange. I shrugged my friends if they pointed out that they didn’t see that deep chemistry in our eyes anymore which once used to be our trademark.

It took me years to recognise my folly for I never knew the balancing act despite being a perfectionist. But for the past few years, I have deliberately acquired the skill to balance and oh boy what a remarkable change it has brought to our little family. I have learnt to ensure that none of my relations is getting ignored or crushed or sacrificed for the other.

Striking a perfect balance between being a mom and wife, is no mean task. We all know about it! In fact, many of you have made the mistake I had and messed our life a little bit after having a baby on the marital front but the fact is our spouse is equally valuable and it isn’t appropriate to ignore him or withdraw assuming that he understands. Remember they haven’t undergone the several hormonal changes of bearing a baby and birthing him and still is loving you and the baby the most.

Love him and enjoy his love in return, keep the spark of your relationship alive even if you have to work a notch harder for it. It is all worth it darlings. Remember he is the first love of your life. Enjoy a special date with him for the two of you or maybe watch a movie together asking your friend or relative to take care of kids. I remember catching a romantic movie cuddled in a stole in the morn show as our preschooler went to school. I always feel the time is running out, what we can do as a thirty-something, we might not like doing as a forty-something, thus make the most of every moment.

Another significant reason is as your little one grows he doesn’t learn what you teach him but he learns more what he sees and if he sees a loving and balanced relationship of his mom-dad, that’s the picture that is painted on his mind and he grows up to have similarly balanced relationships in his life.

Be wise and allocate time to your spouse, your child and also don’t forget yourself in a balanced way to make your life beautiful for all of you. The earlier you strike this balance the better it shall be for all of you my dears. Let’s give out a lot of happiness, a lot of love, a lot of positive vibes to the universe and the universe shall flood us back with abundant of it because you get what you give, but never forget the balancing act.

Let’s Bid Bappa GoodBye in the Most Environment Friendly Way 🙏

Top post on IndiBlogger, the biggest community of Indian Bloggers
Ecoponds In Pune

Voila! Ganpati is here and it is that time of the year when my heart drowns itself into the joys of festivities and goes ooh la la doing a happy dance. More than 7 years in Pune and I am still in awe of the majesty and grandeur of the Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations in the entire Maharashtra state though feeling every bit a part of it now. Welcoming Ganpati each year, worshipping him with a pure heart, relishing Modaks as his prasad and then finally bidding him goodbye with a promise that he visits us again the coming year, has become such a vital part of our lives now. No words can aid me to express how heart-warming and divine the entire experience is.

On the con side of these regal Celebrations is the Viserjan of Bappa is natural water bodies like rivers and seas rendering it unfit for consumption. Each year, over 75 lakh Ganesha idols made of Plaster of Paris, are immersed in water bodies in and around Pune at the conclusion of the 11-day festival, leaving behind tonnes of non – degradable waste. Reports show that in and around Pune, water bodies showed a 100X increase in heavy metals such as mercury, cadmium and lead, known to affect nerves and kidneys, post-Anant Chaturdashi. This is a fact that cannot be negated or ignored under any circumstances.

This is a cause very close to my heart and I have for years worked to generate awareness around this. Thus when last year while planning the Viserjan, I came to know about the ECO PONDS initiative of VODAFONE in association such Pune’s Municipal Corporation, I was extremely impressed by this candid attempt to save our environment and generated awareness about the same through my blog, all social media handles and also in several WhatsApp Groups. I owed this clean and environment-friendly goodbye to our Bappa, our creator and wanted to do my bit. This year too ‘ECO PONDS’ are in place are put in place by Vodafone, all we got to do is, pledge to bid Bappa goodbye in an environmentally friendly way and search for your nearest ECO POND here
or call them at 7391000000 and save our precious Pune from contamination.

Researches have already proved your interest in the same. Vodafone Idea’s research in Pune suggested that residents have been on the lookout for solutions to prevent pollution, even while permitting them to continue with their social/religious practices.

‘Vodafone Eco Ponds’ initiative was born from these findings and a determination to find an environmentally friendly solution that will also preserve the sanctity surrounding Ganeshotsav. Conceived in partnership with the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) and National Chemical Laboratory (NCL), ‘Vodafone Eco Ponds’ in Pune were used for immersing over 3100 Ganesha idols, during Ganeshotsav 2017.

This year too, Vodafone Idea Ltd has set up ‘Vodafone Eco-Ponds’, a temporary water tank setup equipped with a promoter and a lifeguard, at 7 Vodafone stores across the city. Starting September 13th, Punekars can visit any of these store locations with their Ganesh idols, where they will be assisted to carry out the Visarjan.

Additionally, 4 mobile ‘Vodafone Eco Ponds’ have been introduced this year. Housing societies in Pune can get the facility of the mobile ‘Vodafone Eco Pond’ within their premises to carry out Visarjan in an eco-friendly manner.

Ganeshotsav is the most anticipated annual festival for Punekars. As the largest and most preferred telecom network in Maharashtra, and a responsible corporate citizen,  ‘Vodafone Eco Ponds’ helped recycle 13 tonnes of PoP and generated 1 lakh litres of fertiliser post Ganeshotsav 2017. This resource was subsequently distributed to farmers in Maharashtra.

Vodafone stores located at NIBM, Wakdewadi, Aundh, Kharadi, Baner, Kalyani Nagar & Chinchwad link road have been equipped with ‘Vodafone Eco Ponds’ (See Annexure). Bappa devotees can also search for the closest ‘Vodafone Eco Pond’ by using the Maps here or dial 7391000000 for information on ‘Vodafone Eco Ponds’ locations.
