"P"riorities when given as a Reason for Extra Marital Affairs

It breaks my heart whenever I hear someone justifying his friend's action that because his wife's priorities shifted to their kid post child birth that he looked for the love outside of his house ....

"Mira and Kabir were a deeply in love couple❤️...their fondness can be sensed by anyone in the vicinity and was truly contagious❤️...Both were doing extremely well in their careers...Kabir dropped Mira to her cab early morn though being a sales guy he really loved sleeping late❤️ And Mira always prepared his favorite dinner and ensured they ate dinner together from the same plate❤️...Rice he always ate from her hands morsel by morsel until the last bite!

In time other than their work, they had great fun from watching movies to hitting discs to taking frequent vacations together ❤️... Their world revolved around each other and they loved it that way 😊.

They also were the true motivation for each other and being best buddies stood by each other's dreams...but something changed at the birth of their baby...though they both were on Cloud 9 to welcome their little princess and Kabir ensured Mira got all possible comforts while at work or home, there was something that was going within him...

Mira too was juggling between work, crazy travel that her assignment called for and her tiny soul waiting for her at home...Both mom and dad adjusted their times so that one worked 6 to 4 while the other 12 to 10 to say he is not only with the nanny for most hours!

But actually Kabir missed spending time with Mira and so does she.. He craved for her old loving ways and she despite of trying her best, couldn't give him the same attention and love ...she got terribly exhausted by the end of the day, and  wanted his shoulder so much...

They did make up a bit during weekends but there were so many pending tasks of the week to be taken care of..while Mira was expressive and always shared her heart out Kabir was an introvert!

With passing time the romance between them died a slow death...while they were still very caring for each other, the void in Kabir's heart kept growing stronger... They both were now perfect parents to their kid but that's all they were!

Kabir now embraced Silence and his laughter and jokes no more echoed in their home... Though Mira tried to ignite the passion flame now but Kabir had built a strong wall of preconceived notions about her in his heart forever...

She really didn't know why he felt so insecure so much so that for years after he even dreaded the thought of having a second child...

Mira still loved him most dearly and decided to discuss and explain to him how priorities may vary but that will not diminish her love for him, so she decided to surprise him in his office and go out for lunch with him..

She wore his most favorite Fuschia dress and reached outside his cabin... as she was about to open the door, she could hear loud burst of Kabir's laughter from inside, the ones she missed so much... as she walked inside, she saw another women with Kabir, they were having Lunch from the same lunch box and Kabir trying to eat the morsel from her hands while she was shaking it here and there...

There was pin drop Silence for a couple of seconds which seemed longer than a lifetime....................."

A billion questions flooded her heart simultaneously..What should she do? What would you have done in such a situation?
